Accessories - Sieves, Screeners and Separators

We pride ourselves on having the most comprehensive range of sieves on the market. Therefore we offer a wide number of sieve accessories that complement your vibratory sieves and will help improve the performance and usability of your machine.

Overcoming mesh blockage or damage

In addition to the uncompromising Vibrasonic Deblinding System, Russell Finex offer various mechanical devices to overcome problems often faced when sieving dry powders:

  • RotoBlock – These rotating blocks fit on top of the mesh and help break down agglomerated or clumped powders. They are also useful where powder density is low.
  • Deflector plates or inlet chutes – These are mainly used for two reasons. Firstly, they break the fall of products being discharged from silos or feeders. Secondly, they help Deblinding discs and ballsdirect product into the sieve to optimize product cretention time.
  • Brush cleaning systems - Utilizing the Rotoblock principle, these can be placed on top of the mesh screen to reduce mesh blinding and pegging.
  • Deblinding Discs or Balls – Conventional methods for overcoming mesh blockage and are often used for more industrial applications.

Control of flow rates

  • Gated or weir outlets and scoop feed systems – Where increased control of product discharge is required, these provide adjustable control of product being discharged from the sieve.
  • Straight through and multiple discharge outlets – A variety of discharge outlet options ensures we can adapt your sieve setup to a much larger range of applications and flow rates.

Include the ‘Wet in Place’ system into your sieve for wetting of toxic powders

More commonly recognized within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the hazard of exposing operators to toxic powders is often a problem that requires careful consideration, particularly during regular product changes or during routine maintenance.Wet in place

The ‘Wet in Place’ system can be retrofitted into any of the Russell Compact Sieve range and is available in a number of finishes to match the finish of your sieve. Due to its optimum design and position within the sieve, the wetting process is short using minimal wetting agent, resulting in a much faster, safer, strip down operation.
