How it Works and Options
How the Blow Thru Sieve™ works
Designed to both check screen and convey in a single operation, coping with throughputs as high as 25 metric tonnes per hour (60,000 lbs/hr), this high capacity positive pressure screener safeguards product quality without sacrificing productivity.
Product enters the sieve under positive pressure via its tangential inlet and is then screened through a reinforced 600mm (22”) diameter meshed screen. The product is then discharged onto the next stage of the process, leaving oversized contamination safely contained above the mesh screen. Being fully mobile, with the availability of a variety of connection methods, also provides total flexibility, allowing one unit to be used in multiple positions throughout your plant.
The Blow Thru Sieve™ has been designed and built to meet the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. This unit is certified to operate up to a maximum pressure of 2 bar gauge in Europe or up to 1 bar (14.5 psi) in North America.
