Russell Finex wins two PPMA Group Industry Awards highlighting success in export and innovation

The PPMA Group Industry Awards returned for 2016 with a record number of entries, taking place during PPMA Total Show, a landmark event in the processing industry calendar. Over 400 industry leaders came together for the gala dinner, with celebrity hosts Andy Parsons and Hayley McQueen presenting various awards for achievement in the industry. Russell Finex was delighted to receive two awards, highlighting another successful year for the company.

The annual PPMA Group Industry Awards include 13 categories of achievement, showcasing the best that British manufacturing has to offer. Russell Finex, a global leader in the manufacture of industrial sieving and filtration equipment, won two awards throughout the evening, winning Exporter of the Year and Most Innovative Ancillary Equipment.

Hemal Adalja, Russell Finex Export Sales Manager, was delighted to receive the awards on behalf of the company. “We are delighted to be recognized by PPMA with these awards, which highlight the recent success of Russell Finex in different ways. We have continued to invest in our export efforts, illustrated by the opening of a new facility in China, as well as increased growth in other territories. The company is also committed to developing innovative new products, and invests heavily in research programmes, in order for our products to keep us a step ahead in the industry.”

For over 80 years, Russell Finex has enjoyed steady, strategic growth of its export activity, with subsidiaries in the USA, Belgium, India and China, supported by UK headquarters and factory. Part of the company’s success can be attributed to building and maintaining a global customer base, supported by local sales and aftermarket teams. With an increasing number of sales coming from export markets, Russell Finex continues to target new opportunities, as well as expand into existing territories.

With innovation at the core of the company, Russell Finex also invests in research. Part of this involves utilizing relationships with major global customers, and consulting them when developing new machines. For example, the Russell Screen Changer™, winner of PPMA’s Most Innovative Ancillary Equipment, was developed in response to the needs of Russell customers. The development team applied the latest in pneumatic technology to provide an easy-to-use, safe and compact quick screen change system, which solves previous challenges experienced during the maintenance of large industrial separators.

Russell Finex would like to thank PPMA Group, as well as Sutton Winson Ltd and TNA Packaging and Processing Solutions for selecting the company for these two awards, and congratulates all other successful companies. To find out more about Russell Finex and its range of equipment, contact us today.
