PPMA Total Show 2016 Review
First edition of rebranded Total Show proves a success in more ways than one
For the very first time, the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association hosted the rebranded PPMA Total Show 2016, from 27 – 29 September at Birmingham’s NEC. The event sees PPMA take full ownership of the former Total Processing and Packaging Show, which will now take place every three years. Russell Finex was excited to be able to showcase its latest range of separation technology at the exhibition this year.
The show saw hundreds of machinery manufacturers, suppliers, experts and media outlets share and discuss the latest trends and technologies in processing and packaging, across a variety of industries. Whilst being a UK trade association, PPMA represents its members around the world, highlighted by a number of visitors from across Europe, the Americas and the Far East.
With various subsidiaries around the world, including a new subsidiary in China, Russell Finex was delighted to once again showcase the latest developments in separation technology to a global audience at the show. Experienced machine experts were on hand to provide advice and insight on a range of industrial sieves and filters.
A highlight was the Finex Separator™, shown with the new Russell Screen Changer™ - a deck lifting device for round vibratory separators, which was awarded Most Innovative Ancillary Equipment 2016 by PPMA during the show. The innovation was noted for providing improvements in operator safety and ease of use, enhancing the usability of a machine popular amongst food manufacturers. Russell Finex was also named Exporter of the Year at the awards ceremony. Find out more about the PPMA Group Industry Awards here.
