Russell Finex raises £500 for Red Nose Day 2019
Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day 2019 Russell Finex employees once again participate in various activities to raise money for the long standing charity. Having fundraised in the past through events such as bikeathons, active sports, and office olympics, this year the company held a Russell Bake-Off, alongside some games where employees were able to win treats and donate to charity.
A large variety of sweet treats were donated to the bake sale from flapjacks and cookies to brownies and cakes. On the day, 5 panel judges were chosen at random to critique all of the delicious treats based on appearance, taste and texture. Congratulations to Lisa Harris, Company Secretary at Russell Finex Ltd who came first place and won the Russell Bake-Off with her spectacular cranberry and sultana flapjacks.
