Solutions for the bakery industry
When it comes to ingredient sieving, nobody knows more than Russell Finex. For many years, we have been helping bread bakers, cake makers, biscuit manufacturers, and others in the bakery industry to achieve the highest standards required by their discerning customers and by US, EU and UK food legislators. We have often set new standards of hygiene, quality and efficiency by anticipating the demands of the industry and producing custom-made equipment to satisfy those demands.
Strict Legislation
We understand the problems surrounding and the requirements of HAZOP, HACCP, of GMP, the UK FOOD SAFETY ACT, and the EC OFFICIAL CONTROL OF FOODSTUFFS DIRECTIVE as well as USDA and FDA and how they relate to the sieving of ingredients.
Equipment designed for the industry
We have equipment that will remove paper, string, flour weevil, as well as ferrous and many other forms of contamination from your ingredients.
Managing hygiene breaks and eliminating contamination
The Compact 3in1 Sieve was designed specifically with bakery companies in mind. We can also offer equipment specifically designed to work through a Hygiene Break while also protecting the operator from the dangers of dust, and, at the same time, removing ferrous contamination.
Recommended product: Compact 3in1 sieve
Check screening raw ingredients
The Russell Compact Sieve is an ideal check-screening machine that is simple to operate, simple to clean, and easily mobile. Designed to sieve ingredients without slowing production down, but providing the insurance you need.
If you check screen all ingredients immediately before mixing then you can rightfully claim to have shown due diligence.
Recommended product: Compact Sieve
Explosion-safe
We understand that where large amounts of flour, sugar or salt are handled, there is always an explosion risk caused by dust clouds. Our machines are therefore ATEX approved, making the range of sieves safe to use in potentially explosive gaseous or dusty environments, including zones 20, 21, 22, 0, 1 and 2.
The ATEX Directive is used to safeguard business with explosive products and takes into consideration factors such as static charge, electric and mechanical components and earth continuity.
