Water Separators
Specialist equipment for waste treatment
Russell Finex have years of experience in waste treatment solutions. We understand that all processes produce waste and that it is considered to be a cost associated with production. We provide sieving and filtration solutions to make your process more efficient. This can not only save you money in terms of productivity, but will often result in a cleaner process as well, which can also help your bottom line by reducing tax and disposal costs.
Water treatment - separators and filters
Typically, water is an essential ingredient of most processes and is often the main element of waste. In the past, it was acceptable to give little thought to waste water disposal. However, in recent years, environmental legislation either bans water with excessive levels of solids, or charges for treating it at a price according to the level of solids, BOD or COD.
It makes sense, therefore, to clean up the water to avoid or reduce those costs. In doing so, processors have also justified in cost terms the recovery of many by-products including water itself. Process water can often be filtered simply to remove the bulk of solids, sufficient for it to be re-used in the same process.
