Russell Gated Outlet

The Russell Gated Outlet™ is a pneumatically controlled gate inserted just inside the outlet of the sieve deck which can be inflated or deflated, providing complete control of product discharge. This is ideal for applications where there is very little oversize or when product is discharged too quickly resulting in loss of good product. Available in a food grade material as well as high wear polyurethane this device can seal against gravity fed dry powders and liquids up to a head of 1" (25.4mm).

Russell Flow Stop

This is a simple, quick and easy device to help control discharge of oversize and can be retrofitted to any Russell Compact Sieve®, Finex Separator™ or Eco Separator® with minimal modification required to existing panwork.

Inlet chutes and Scoop offtake devices

In some cases as product enters the sieve some additional control to ensure the screener is running at its optimum may be required.

Inlet chutes are used for two reasons, either to reduce the impact of product as it lands on the mesh screen or to direct the product flow increasing mesh retention times. Scoop offtakes are positioned at the oversize outlet and assist with the removal of oversize product to be discharged more effectively.
