When compressing products together ensuring the particle sizes are of equal measure is important as it will allow compression to take place effectively with minimal cavities. Grading sawdust into particle size will guarantee such a situation can occur. A company was producing blocks of sawdust by compacting sawdust particles. Each product cut could then be used separately to create well-formed sawdust blocks.
