Our Finex®22 improves product quality by removing oversized particles from a pharmaceutical liquid
Baby shampoo is a gentle, tear-free formulation often used in personal care products for cleaning infants' hair and scalp due to its mild and skin-friendly composition. During manufacture, the baby shampoo can sometimes form oversized particles or gel-like agglomerates that settle at the bottom of the mixing container. While transferring the product to a bulk container, these agglomerates block the mesh at the nozzle of the transfer tube, requiring constant supervision. Therefore, effective filtration is essential before storing or packaging to ensure products meet strict quality and hygiene standards and are safe for infant use.
In this demo video, our Finex® 22 is used to filter baby shampoo using a 224-micron mesh to remove undissolved solids and unwanted oversized particles from the viscous liquid.
The vibratory action of the industrial sifter breaks down the undissolved solids and screens foreign particles, ensuring that only smooth and uniform liquid passes to the collection bin. As a result, the output rate was maximized to 1190 litres per hour.
Our Finex® 22 is widely adopted in the pharmaceutical industry for its high-performance screening and minimal need for operator intervention. This unit can sieve typical powders to challenging viscous and thixotropic liquids. Its versatile design can be tailored to suit a wide range of pharmaceutical applications, meeting hygiene standards and maximizing overall productivity.
