The Processing & Packaging Machinery Association's awards of Excellence have been recognizing superiority and innovation in engineering for ten years. The Bob Newman Medal is awarded in recognition of innovative machinery design by a UK supplier.
Russell Finex were awarded the prize for their new Russell Compact Airlock Sieve™ which was launched in March 2005. The unique design evolved as a result of close consultation with many of the top pharmaceutical manufacturers around the world and after extensive research the biggest concern for pharmaceutical powder processors was the danger of product leakage.
