Leaders Council recognition for Russell Finex

June 2, 2021

Russell Finex receives recognition from Lord Blunkett for its business operations and leadership efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic

Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect businesses across the globe, over the last year at Russell Finex we have striven to help a variety of key industries keep running. From food and beverage to the pharmaceutical industries, the efforts of our workforce have enabled these industries to operate efficiently to serve their customers, as well as helping those businesses requiring aftermarket support in the form of maintenance and spares.

In a recent letter to all Leadership Council members, Lord Blunkett wrote to Managing Director Ray Singh to thank Russell Finex for all its hard work over the last year. Despite restrictions being placed on how businesses operate across the United Kingdom with national lockdowns, Russell Finex has continued to operate safely under these guidelines. It has helped companies such as Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, and Beximco alongside production facilities to make important products from hand sanitizer to 3D printed parts for ventilators.

At the Russell Finex HQ in Feltham, UK improvements to offices and the factory were quickly implemented to provide a safer working environment as well as working closely with the local council to conduct weekly asymptomatic COVID testing.

In the letter, Lord Blunkett wrote: “I am writing to thank [Russell Finex] for all the hard work you’ve put in over the year […] [especially for] the way you have helped to keep the country running despite seemingly insurmountable odds.”

When asked about what it meant to receive this letter and statement, Ray Singh commented: “To receive such recognition and thanks from Rt Hon Lord Blunkett is an incredible achievement. It not only shows the success of our strengthened resolve and strategy as a business, but is testament to the hard work of everyone at Russell Finex that we have been able to continue operating and serving our clients across the globe, as well as doing our bit in the fight against COVID-19.”
