From September 29th till October 2nd Polagra-Tech, the international trade fair for food processing technologies, will welcome visitors from over 50 countries. The show is held in Poznan, Poland, and will welcome approximately 50,000 visitors, making this exhibition the largest and most important meeting for the food processing industry in Central and East-Europe. Polagra-Tech takes place every year and the focus of the show this year is on bakery and confectionery technologies. Next to a comprehensive range of products and technologies, the fair will also feature industry specified presentations, open discussions, training and conferences.

On the Russell Finex stand the Russell Eco Separator®, the Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® and the Russell Compact 3in1 Sieve™ will be on display.
The Russell Eco Separator® is a cost effective spring-mounted gyratory sifter. This range of separators can be installed with up to four sieve decks to obtain five product fractions. The Russell Eco Separator® is available in six sizes ranging from a 24” to a 72” diameter, making it suitable for either small or large scale productions. This gyratory sifter is available with a painted or stainless steel base, however the fully stainless steel unit is more commonly used for food and pharmaceutical applications.
Continuous filtration of liquid products or slurries at a high capacity can be achieved with the Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter®. Products can be filtered at a high temperature up to 250°C whilst providing an accurate filtration down to 10µm. The Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® has a reusable filter element with a self-cleaning design. The surface of the filter element is continuously kept clean by the unique SpiroKlene™ wiper system. These features enable you to minimize product loss and reduce costs incurred by replacing filter bags or cartridges. The Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® has widely been applied in food manufacturing processes such as the filtration of chocolate and honey.
One of the most renowned check screeners of Russell Finex is the Russell Compact Sieve®. By achieving high sieving capacities, whilst providing accurate and reliable separation, this vibratory screener has been applied in a wide range of powder processing applications. New in the range of this screening machine is the stainless steel model which is suitable for both 3-A food and pharmaceutical applications.
Your newly bought or existing Russell Compact Sieve® can be fitted with the new Russell Superclamp™. These stainless steel quick release clamps which provide a consistent clamping pressure and make re-adjustment of the clamps unnecessary. Installing the Russell Superclamp™ will increase the life of clamp pads, seals and gaskets, and minimize heat generation and damage to the sieve deck.
