Russell Finex showcases pioneering sieving and filtration equipment at PPMA 2014 (Hall 5, D21)

A working demonstration of the totally enclosed Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® will be on display. Suitable for most liquids, the self-cleaning industrial filter is fitted with a unique SpiroKlene™ wiper which continuously cleans the surface of the filter element, providing continuous and consistent liquid flow. Operator involvement is minimised with tool free dis-assembly, resulting in increased productivity and a significant reduction in labour costs. Also installed on the liquid filter will be the Russell Filter Management System™ which continuously monitors and controls the filtration process, maximising performance while reducing labour costs and product wastage.

Utilising the features of the Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter®, the Russell Hygiene Filter™ has been designed for optimum cleaning to meet the demands of the food and pharmaceutical industry where product quality cannot be compromised. This fully stainless steel machine is crevice free and conforms to strict hygiene standards.

The Russell Liquid Solid Separator™ centrifugal screener will be in operation demonstrating the machine’s capability of continuously removing solids from liquids down to 20 microns achieving, flow rates of up to 100,000 l/hr.

The Finex Separator™ can accurately grade or size powders on up to 4 fractions, achieving up to 5 accurate separations. The rubber suspension of this vibratory grader means transmission of vibration to the mesh is higher than in spring mounted grading sieves, providing higher capacities and reduced operating noise. The machine displayed will be fitted with the Vibrasonic® Deblinding System to provide a working demonstration of how you can eliminate the blinding and blocking of your mesh screens.

The Russell Compact Sieve® is a versatile screener ideal for high capacity check screening of powders and liquid slurries where space is restricted. With a quick release clamping system the machine is easy to dismantle and clean without tools, helping to increase productivity.
