Russell Finex gives back to communities through a range of festive activities
Staff at the Russell Finex Ltd UK headquarters raise money for nationwide charities, including Dementia UK, MIND and Save the Children.
The annual Christmas raffle was yet again the highlight of the fundraising campaign, with staff members nominating their preferred charity. This year, Dementia UK was the chosen charity to be the beneficiary of the raffle, with MIND coming in at second place.
Dementia UK provides specialist support for families who are dealing with dementia, supporting them with the expert guidance and practical solutions they need. Families are equipped to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.
An array of donations from Russell Finex, suppliers and local organizations formed an enticing raffle prize pool ranging from the GoPro Hero 7 Camera to high street vouchers, hampers and many more. In total, £1000 was raised through the Christmas raffle, with all proceeds going to Dementia UK.
MIND was the runner up charity, which understands and supports those experiencing mental health problems, providing supportive and reliable information that can change their lives. A Christmas card was signed by members of Russell Finex Ltd, with donations also being made for the charity in support of their cause.
During this period the company also participated in the National Christmas Jumper Day in support of ‘Save the Children’, an organization which is committed to supporting children around the world by providing education, healthcare and disaster relief. A total of £125.88 was raised in support of this cause.
