Russell Finex places 2nd at the Feltham in Bloom awards

Russell Finex is proud to be taking part in the Feltham in Bloom initiative, a local attempt to transform the area with nature and color with the aim of making Feltham a more attractive and welcoming place for its inhabitants. Dreamt up by Rob Antill, who set up a gardening club at Victoria Junior School, these flowers are part of the wider London in Bloom contest to be judged in early July.

As part of a city with a strong horticultural heritage and an even stronger community, Russell Finex took their own steps in contributing towards the “Bloom” initiative. In recent weeks 10 hanging baskets full of flowers were placed outside the main reception, each with their own permanent water-supply system. They are now set to be a permanent fixture outside of the Russell Finex offices for everyone to look at and enjoy, adding to the score of visual improvements placed along other buildings and public spaces across Feltham.

The Feltham in Bloom competition was judged on Saturday 29th June, with Russell Finex placing 2nd in the Business category. The event was a sunny day enjoyed by all, and the award was handed out by Feltham’s Deputy Mayor to Russell Finex’s Health and Safety Officer Stefan Wells. This is an excellent result that showcases Russell Finex’s continuing dedicated involvement in the local community, and we would like to congratulate all the winners in the various categories, in a fixture that looks set to remain on the Feltham Calendar of Events for many years to come.
