Schüttgut 2014 was a huge success, with a growth of 15% in both visitors and exhibitors
In May 2014 Russell Finex exhibited their high quality screening machines at the Schüttgut exhibition in Dortmund, Germany. This is one of the most important business and information platforms for bulk and solids technologies in North-Rhine Westphalia, the industrial core of Germany. The show was combined with the recycling exhibition Recyling-Technik and therefore covered a wide range of topics such as the processing, handling, transportation and storage of bulk goods, as well as the processing and recycling of building materials and plastics, wood, glass, metal and paper.
With a growth of 15% in both visitors and exhibitors compared to last time, this year’s show proved to be a success. The positive feedback from exhibitors and the successful show is reflected clearly in the number of advance bookings for Schüttgut 2015, with 50% of stands already rebooked. Russell Finex were very pleased with the business contacts and opportunities the exhibition brought and already booked their stand for next year. On the show Russell Finex attracted many visitors to their stand with their latest developments and innovations. The machines which were shown in full operation were particularly popular exhibits. On the stand visitors could see how the new pneumatic screener Russell Compact Self-Loading Sieve™ automatically loads, screens and discharges the product in one easy operation. With this new development, additional conveying and discharge systems have become obsolete.
The working demonstration of the Finex Separator™ with the Gated Outlet™ was another must-see exhibit on the stand. Visitors were able to experience an efficient and quiet sieving operation. Due to its rubber suspension the Finex Separator™ only has a maximum noise level of 69dBA. On the stand this vibratory grader was installed with the Gated Outlet™, a pneumatically controlled gate at the outlet of the sieve deck. This systems allows any operator to control how long the product stays on the mesh, enabling a higher productivity and a minimum loss of good product.
Schüttgut is one of the most extensive platforms for manufacturers who are handling or processing powders and bulk goods. Because of the diversity and large number of exhibitors the show lends itself to every industry.
