Russell Finex will cycle 130 miles in 6 hours to raise £1000 for Red Nose Day 2015

Red Nose Day is fast approaching, and once again Russell Finex will be actively involved in raising money to support this incredible charity. The money raised for Red Nose Day will be distributed to people who live in unfortunate circumstances, providing better and safer lives for people in the UK and abroad.

Rising to the challenge

The Russell Racers will once again be donning their lycra to compete in a bikeathon on an exercise bike. In 2014, the Russell Racers cycled approximately 21mph over 12 hours to complete 256 miles (76 miles more than first planned and the distance between London and Paris). The challenge this year is to cycle 130 miles in 6 hours, requiring the Russell Racers team to cycle an average of 22mph to meet the set target.

                               Red Nose Day

In order to show their support to the charity, Russell Finex have set a target of raising £1000 from the sponsored bikeathon. Donations of any size are welcome, and all proceedings will go towards helping people who live within unfortunate circumstances. Please visit the Russell Finex Russell Racers giving page to make a donation.

Live streaming of the event will be available from 9am - 3pm on Friday 13th March, enabling you to view the Russell Racers bikeathon live. In-order to watch the livestream, please visit Russell Finex’s YouTube page or alternatively visit the News and Events section of the Russell Finex website on Friday 13th March to watch the event unfold.
