Relying on an outdated spring model sifter fitted with a simple stainless-steel wire mesh made handling Haryana’s fine, sticky, irregular powders a constant challenge. Frequent mesh blinding slowed down the entire sieving process and turned routine separation into a labor-intensive task. As a result, the team had to dedicate 5–10% of total operational time to cleaning the wire mesh and performing sieve maintenance, significantly impacting overall productivity.
Haryana invested in our Finex Ultima™, and with the support from our local team, seamlessly integrated the equipment into their North India facility. The manufacturer also chose to integrate our Russell Vibrasonic® Deblinding System into their chemical powder separator. This unique technology enables sieving on finer meshes (down to 20 microns), eliminating powder blocking or blinding. This design allows manufacturers to improve their final product quality and significantly increase screening capacity. Since installing our Finex Ultima™ and Russell Vibrasonic® Deblinding System, Haryana has achieved a 50% increase in screening capacity.
The team can now process up to 700 kilograms of powder per hour, a substantial increase, while gaining the flexibility to adapt to shifting production demands.
