The complete range of Fuji Paudal wet extrusion granulation and high shear mixing granulation is available in laboratory size. This allows businesses to develop products on a smaller scale on their own premises, with the option to scale-up to larger sizes.
This multi granulator can be configured to fit alongside any of the three extrusion configurations – dome, radial, or frontal. A wet mix is prepared by hand-mixing, or in a small batch Fuji Paudal kneader, to be fed into a granulator and extruded through a screen to form granules.

The BR-150 can be easily assembled with the desired screen and prepared for extrusion. A wet mix is separately prepared by hand-mixing or in a small batch Fuji Paudal kneader. The wet mixture is manually fed onto the pressure blade and into the extrusion zone. The extrusion blades gently wipe the material through the screen producing well-formed extrudates.

The Fuji Paudal Batch Kneader is a benchtop device that allows you to easily combine powders and liquids to produce homogeneous mixtures. Liquid is added to the dry ingredients and thoroughly mixed by the counter rotating twin shafts, producing a uniform wet mass. Once complete, the mixing bowl is removed, and the batch is transferred to inter-mediate storage for further processing.

The laboratory spheronizer, Marumerizer Model QJ-230T, allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of spheronization on your extruded granules. The QJ-230T’s size and unique features allow it to evaluate batch sizes down to one litre. Results achieved on this equipment can be used to accurately scale-up to larger sizes.
The QJ-230T can be easily fitted with the desired friction plate for spheronization. Moist granules from an extruder or mixer are fed into the spinning friction plate and thrown against the inside of the Marumerizer / Spheronizer. Once the desired particle shape is achieved, the batch is discharged, collected, and dried.
