最高級の塗料品質を守るため、Farrow & Ball 社はセルフクリーニングろ過機を塗料生産ラインに最適化させ生産量を二倍にしました。
Farrow & Ball, located in Dorset, UK, is a traditional paint and wallpaper manufacturer founded in 1946. With over 300 employees domestically and 600 worldwide, the company has been growing continuously for over 70 years and sells stocklist networks around the world, including B&Q, Homebase, and many well-known DIY stores. .
As the company grew, Farrow & Ball approached Russell Finex for a solution that would easily fit into their existing operations and meet their growing needs while ensuring product quality.
The premium paints produced by Farrow & Ball go through multiple stages of precision and detail to ensure their high quality. Testing is essential to guarantee the quality of the paint. Our paints contain up to 30% more pigment than other paint manufacturers, so there is a risk that there may be a lot of undispersed pigment in the mixture. In the past, to eliminate this risk, we used long stirring operations to ensure the pigments were completely dispersed, which could take up to two days per batch.
After extensive discussions about liquid paint filtration with Russell finex's experienced sales engineers , we conducted a field test of the Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter®. As a result, two self-cleaning liquid filters were installed, reducing the time it took to package each batch by 45 minutes and improving the quality assurance process by 100%.
Thanks to the unique SpiroKlene™ self-cleaning strainer, there is no need to change filter bags or cartridges, increasing production rates by eliminating stoppages to do so. Konko filters are easy to remove, clean, and reassemble, minimizing hassle when changing colors.
Russell Finex has a history of providing filtration equipment to companies throughout the paint industry . Please contact us for more information about this application and how to integrate it into your production line .
