Electron beam melting (EBM) is a method where metal powders are melted, layer by layer to build a component. This component is extracted from inside a ‘semi-sintered cake’. The unused powder remaining is then removed and reused for further builds.
The Russell AMPro® Sieve Station has been developed to reclaim and recondition the unused powders after use. This keeps the process affordable and reduces powder wastage.
As well as the Russell AMPro® Sieve Station, we have a range of other separation equipment for grading AM powders and check-screening virgin AM powders.
