Russell Finex raise £5000 to help international medical organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) combat COVID19
With the ongoing pandemic, medical personnel around the globe are working hard to combat and treat the coronavirus. Médecins Sans Frontières is one such global organization who are on the frontlines in over 70 countries, bringing humanitarian medical assistance to those in severely affected countries.
To help this organization over the last few months Russell Finex set up a fundraising initiative to raise money to assist medical personnel, providing them with much-needed equipment such as gloves, masks, and protective suits. Not only is it one way to give support, but it demonstrates Russell Finex’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility as it continues to operate and help key industries throughout this pandemic.
After a few months of fundraising, as a group Russell Finex was able to raise £5000 to support this incredible organization. MSF Community and Corporate Giving Co-ordinator for the UK, Meera Patel, had this to say about Russell Finex’s donation: “MSF would like to say a huge thank you to Russell Finex for choosing to support our COVID-19 response. MSF is currently racing to respond to the pandemic in over 70 countries, and funds raised by Russell Finex will undoubtedly help us to achieve our vital priorities. These include supporting health systems and authorities, protecting vulnerable populations through vital medical services and improving infection prevention and control measures. Thank you for your support!”

The spread of COVID19 is affecting so many people across the globe, and MSF are one of many organizations working tirelessly to give aid and medical assistance to those in need. Set up in 1971, MSF is now a worldwide movement of over 67,000 people, and staff, made up of healthcare professionals, logistic and admin staff, in over 150 countries.
