Russell Finex sponsors Hounslow Business Awards 2016, lending expertise to the customer service category
As the fourth edition of the Hounslow Business Awards approaches, Russell Finex is looking forward to being involved with this local celebration once again. The company has enjoyed success at the awards in previous years but, for the first time, will be involved in the judging process this time around, and is excited to share business advice, expertise and praise with a selection of local companies.
Hounslow Business Awards, organized by Hounslow Chamber of Commerce in association with Hounslow Highways, celebrate the achievements of the local business community. This year’s awards were formally launched at a ceremony in March, at GlaxoSmithKline’s iconic headquarters in Brentford. From then until June, a wealth of businesses submitted their applications across 12 categories, hoping to be shortlisted for the respective prizes.
Hounslow Business Awards 2016 – Evaluation process
Once an independent party has compiled a shortlist for each category, the next stage of the judging process will commence. This involves a range of business experts and local executives taking the role of judges in categories where they have specific experience and expertise. Each judge contemplates every shortlisted application, before interviewing the candidates at a judging day in September. This gives the opportunity for the judges to meet companies face-to-face, in order to dig a little deeper into their applications, and get to know the people behind the business, as well as providing feedback on their application.
Rob O’Connell, Russell Finex Sales and Marketing Director, will be judging the ‘Best Business for Customer Service’ award. As a company, Russell Finex has over 80 years of experience in the sieving and filtration industry, providing high-quality processing equipment and global customer service. Rob is looking forward to representing Russell Finex, and being involved in the judging process for the first time, lending customer service know-how to the category.

All shortlisted businesses will be invited to attend the Hounslow Business Awards ceremony at Hilton London Syon Park Hotel, on 13th October 2016, where the judges will announce their category winner and present their prize.
